Care Dimensions, the largest hospice and palliative care organization in Massachusetts, has promoted Sherry MacKenzie, BSN, RN, CHPN®, to clinical director responsible for clinical teams supporting patients in long-term care and assisted living facilities in Greater Boston.
“Since 2011, Sherry has contributed greatly to Care Dimensions by providing excellent hospice care and services to our patients and families,” said Victoria Kury, vice president of clinical operations for Greater Boston. “Sherry is focused on supporting our patients in long-term care and assisted living and partnering with those facilities amid challenges posed by COVID health risks and restrictions.”
MacKenzie began her career at Care Dimensions as an RN case manager and admission liaison nurse before being promoted to clinical manager in 2019. Prior to coming to Care Dimensions, she worked in rehabilitation and long-term care settings as a nurse manager and staff nurse.
A Somerville resident, MacKenzie earned her bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Massachusetts - Boston and she is a Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN®).
