How can we help?
Danvers, Mass. – Care Dimensions HomeMD program, which provides personalized, in-home primary care service for patients 65 years and older who have trouble leaving their homes, is pleased to announce that Alyssa Harris, AGPCNP-BC, and Megan Mistretta, APRN, FNP-C, have joined its clinical team.
New patients are being accepted to the practice and seen at home by a physician or nurse practitioner for all primary care needs. HomeMD is part of Care Dimensions’ continuum of home care services, but patients do not have to be on its palliative care or hospice services. Care Dimensions HomeMD is particularly appropriate for patients who may be physically fragile, have trouble leaving their homes due to physical issues or memory loss, or are managing complex chronic conditions such as diabetes, COPD, stroke or heart failure. Led by long-time North Shore physician Mark Messenger, MD, the team has extensive experience responding to the healthcare needs of a rapidly growing elder population.
Alyssa Harris worked at Care Dimensions previously as a nurse at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers for six years. She is board certified as an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and holds a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Massachusetts – Lowell and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Salem State University.
Megan Mistretta is board certified as a family nurse practitioner and has a master’s degree in nursing from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Rhode Island College and a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire. She is a member of the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Association.
