How can we help?
Care Dimensions is pleased to announce that Chief Information Officer Dan O’Neil, MBA, has achieved the designation of Certified Healthcare Chief Information Officer (CHCIO) from the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME). The CHCIO program is the only certification designed exclusively for leaders in health information technology and represents one of the highest professional achievements in the industry.
“Since Dan joined us in 2018 he has driven the analysis and re-engineering of our business processes and the introduction of new tools to meet the systems and communications challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic to improve patient care and enable our employees to work remotely,” said President and CEO Patricia Ahern, RN, MBA, FACHE. “This certification is testament to the skill and commitment to continual learning and professional advancement that Dan brings to Care Dimensions, and the importance of leading-edge information technology infrastructure to enable our growth and strides in patient care.”
To achieve CHCIO status, candidates must have at least three years of experience as a chief information officer, participate in programs and events that continue their education as an IT leader and pass a rigorous examination. Launched in 2008, CHIME has certified more than 500 healthcare CIOs in 23 countries.
